Here is what I would do.<br />Get a bar fridge. You could put the vegetables, etc. in a plastic box to store.<br />Get a counter top freezer. I saw one that is one cubic foot square<br />Get a counter top ice maker, if you live in a climate where you use a lot of ice.<br />Since you shop every other day anyhow, this would be more than sufficient.<br />And those appliance costs seem very high to me. We seem to find reasonably priced appliances at Sears if we look around a bit. And I must confess to buying my ice maker online and picking it up at the local Wal-Mart.
