When I was learning to ride my first motorcycle I learned the key to steering - the bike or scooter will go where you look. I reminded myself over and over by saying aloud "I'm looking right, I'm turning right". Good luck with your cute new transport, and add some driving gloves to your kit. You'll be glad you did when a stinging insect bounces off or your sweaty palms don't slide off.
